3. AudioBooks: $14.95 per month after 30 day free trial. They are slightly cheaper than Audible, but give only 2 books for $14.95 per month. Their app also enables you to listen to podcasts.

4. AllYouCanBooks: $19.99 per month after 30 day free trial. They have around 40,000 audiobooks, ebooks, language audio courses, and language e-workbooks. You can download as many as you want without limits.
5. Chirpbooks: $.99 and above for audiobooks. No subscription costs, instead they sell books at up to 95% off. If you don’t listen to too many audiobooks per month, this would be a better option than Audible or AudioBooks.
6. Downpour: $12.99 per month. Includes 1 credit which will buy you 1 book a month. They have a pretty large selection of books.

7. eStories: $5.99 per month for 3 months, then $11.99 per month. You get 1 book per month in the subscription.

8. Hoopla: Free to use. If you have a library card from a library that’s part of their network you can get audiobooks for free. Note, they do charge the library a small cost every time an audiobook is checked out. Lastly, they have limited books and they can only be checked out for 21 days.

9. Libro: $14.99 per month after 30 day free trail. You are limited to 1 book per month. Great thing about them is that they share their revenues with local book stores.

10. Scribd: $8.99 after 30 day free trial. Cheapest of all subscription services. You can access unlimited content each month. They have books, audiobooks and newspapers. The latest books aren’t available, but if you can wait a bit, they will show up.
